Our client in the Oil and Gas Industry with ambitions to expand its operations beyond Nigeria requires candidates to fill the positions below:

 Vacancies:
Chief Operating Officer, Group Business Development Manager

Position:
Chief Operating Officer- Ref: OG/01

This role entails responsibilities and accountability for managing and coordinating all company
activities.

Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing all areas of operations to ensure revenues, profits and return on investment are maximized
* Manage the day-to-day functions of operations
* Responsible for business developments and introduction of new product lines and opportunities,
* Monitor all contractual obligations (commercial & technical)
* Responsible for execution of project within cost, time, quality and safety parameters responsible for implementation and proper compliance
* Develop and execute annual budgets and mid and long term strategic plans
* Maintain / improve good public relations with the customers and suppliers and liaising with the principals to support agency management

Skills and qualifications:
* Applicant must possess a university degree in Engineering or related discipline
* 10-20 years post qualification experience in the upstream Oil & Gas Industry
* A higher degree in a relevant discipline as well as Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
* Onshore/offshore oil and gas operations experience
* Hands-on technical skills on vessel operations for offshore
* An extensive network of contacts in the industry.

Position:
Group Business Development Manager – Ref: OG/02

This role entails giving attention to business development and exploiting the business opportunities presented by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop overall marketing and corporate communications strategy for all the subsidiary companies
* Facilitate client development through marketing and client services programs,
* Investigate and understand the economic conditions surrounding the business activity
* Advice the company on changes in the industry
* Adopt team approach; work with others in pursuing common goals,
* Understand the skills and qualities required for the growth of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Applicant must possess a university degree in one of the commerce, accounting, economics or business administration streams
* At least 10 years work experience with considerable sales experience
* Organized and strong negotiation.
* Aware of and responsive to economic trends, government policies and currency fluctuations.
* Target of working to expand the company’s product reach and profit revenues by identifying new markets and attracting new clients
