Job Functions
  • Preparation of petty cash and cheque payment vouchers
  • Preparation of monthly budget variance report
  • Preparation of fixed asset schedule
  • Posting records into FundFusion accounting software

Qualifications
  • Current Lagos State Corper or pre-NYSC
  • ACCA, ACA or PE2 with AAT
  • BSc (second class upper) or HND (Upper Credit)
  • Prior accounting work experience is highly desired
  • Knowledge of stock broking or capital markets will be an advantage

The company as founded by former staff of now defunct Bellview Airlines and received its first two leased Airbus A320-200 aircraft (with an average age of 17.3 years) in early April 2011.  First Nation Airways intends to offer domestic and regional scheduled passenger flights.

Due to expansion, we are seeking applications from vibrant committed professionals for safety and excellent customer service for the following positions:

1.)  Direct Entry Captains

Requirements
  • Candidate with at least 5,000 hours, 2,000 of which must be recent jet time with current first class medical.
  • Type rating on A320 will be an added advantage
Age: Not more than 50 years


2.)  First Officers

Requirements
  • Candidate must be A320 type rated with at least 1000 recent hours on type and a minimum of 1,500 hrs on jet; ICAO valid ATPL with current first class medical.
Age: Not more than 45


Note: Limited positions exist for exceptionally good and experienced Pilots (Nigerians Only) currently not type rated on A320 who may be type rated subject to terms at Airbus, Toulose. Captains without type rating shall have at least 2,000 recent hour of jet experience, while First Officers will require at least 1,000 recent hour of jet experience.


3.)  Flight Dispatchers

Requirements
  • Are you an NCAA, FAA, EASA or ICAO licensed
  • Flight Dispatcher with at least five years experience in flight
  • Are you a professional in crew administration? If you qualify, you have a great career ahead of you at FirstNation

Responsibilities
  • Develops new business opportunities to grow volume within the region;
  • Effectively coordinates, guides and supports sales team within assigned market territory;
  • Gains a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements;
  • Breaks team targets into weekly and daily volumes for each route in the team and regular assessment of progress against sales targets;

Requisite Qualifications & Competencies
  • Degree-qualified in Marketing, Business Studies or related discipline with a minimum of five (5) years cognate experience in the marketing and sale of consumer products; possession of professional qualification in marketing will constitutive a distinctive advantage.
  • Understanding of the company’s products, industry trends and influences;
  • Autonomous self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team;
  • Ability to develop sales and marketing plans outlining clear goals, sales objective and tactics;
  • Strong customer research, planning, organization and execution skills;
  • Ability to create and articulate a product vision;
  • Identification and understanding of the target customers and the various channels required to reach these customers;

 Baker Hughes recruit, these position for providing resolution of complex problems at the well site.
This position is also responsible for maintaining internal and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism in order to maintain and grow the company’s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Under minimal supervision, provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the well site where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line’s tool(s) and/or service.
Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met by the Field Supervisor.
Act as a project leader and mentor junior field engineers.
Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.
Execute other related duties as assigned.
Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Three years experience in oil field industry Industry experience and product line training required.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or Technical Degree preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of assigned Directional Systems services at the well site.
Successful completion of advanced technical training and assigned wellsite development programs.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work well and communicate well with others.
