Problem Solving of Trouble Tickets open and duly registered in Alcatel-Lucent Databases

Troubleshooting and log analysis for preventive actions for NE's

Cooperation with remote expertise centers and technical assistance centers for network incidents

Network monitoring and administration of Alarms


Key Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning and
maintenance of OMC-R / NMS servers.
Software upgrade of OMC-R/ NMS components.
Performing Acceptance tests of NE's to ensure their full Administration from the OMC-R / NMS
Insert OMSN (optical multiservice nodes), SDH Radio inside the ring.
Creating The Traffic on the ISA cards. (transporting Ethernet to the SDH Ring)
Inserting all the NE's in the NMS.
Participating in the 1353SH and 1354RM Installation & Configuration.

Server Installation:
NMS (1353NM,1354RM & 1354BM-ETH) Operation:
Domain Definition, NE definition and Customer Creation.

Relationships (inside and outside the company)
· Suppliers of the servers (HP, SUN)
· Alcatel-lucent TEC, Alcatel-lucent TAC
· Alcatel-lucent Program management
· Customer operations
· Pre
sales for evolutions. TPM


Qualifications
Required Skills and Competencies
· Absolutely required competencies to be able to perform. These could form a rejection criteria.
o Communication/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineer
o Minimum 1 year
o Good communication skills
o Unix skills

Preferred (but not necessarily required) Skills and Competencies
· Knowledge of transmission networks (SDH, DCN..)
· Knowledge of Unix and Windows
· Knowledge of optics equipment (ADM, SDH Radio, LSY, PDH.. )
