Oando Graduate Trainee Programme (GTP)
It is a Graduate Training Programme designed to develop tomorrow’s leader and equip them with the rightful professionalism and skills required to survive in the competitative business world.

The selection process is highly competitive :
shortlisted candidates will undergo a structured, broad-based training programme involving both formal and on the job learning. At the end of the programme, successful candidates will be considered for permanent positions within the company.

Requirements:
Prospective candidates will be professional, passionate, ambitious and able to demonstrate a high level of integrity. They will be team players, who exhibit a high level of respect and must possess the following:

Bachelor or Master Degree with minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2:1) in any discipline
Completion of NYSC by 31st December 2011
Minimum of 5 B’s and 2 C’s in WASC, SSCE or GCE ‘O’ in one sitting, which must include Mathematics and English.

Age:Not more than 25 years


The programme is open only to graduates who obtained their Bachelor’s degree in the last four years.

Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist
Department: Marketing and Strategy

Job Description:
•Gather and analyze data for strategic, operational and tactical decision making
•Solve intelligence and information problems and provide insight from incomplete information
•Participate in Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives to enable management make accurate and timely decision
•Assist with the development of products, services, strategic technology, market and financial plans
•Participate in the development and review of user requirements and/or functional specifications that relate to systems implementation and appropriate use
•Assist in the assessment of product feasibility
•Provide an articulate understanding of secondary data sources and knowledge of competitive trends and industry direction
•Provide prompt resolution of BI systems issues related to integration of peripheral systems
•Participate in designing and implementation of BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses
•Participate in the selection, blueprinting, requirements gathering, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end users
•Ensure high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing
•Ensure that Marketing Strategy and MTN business requirements from a reporting view are adhered to.
•Ensure availability and integrity of customer data (usage, behavior, ARPU, etc. by geography and product)
•Provide business hands-on training on business objects
•Provide and support long term reporting requirements
•Ensure the integrity of enterprise data information by ensuring correct business rules are adhered to
•Enable BI users to freely access relevant information directly on-line as well as the functionality to supply ad-hoc requests when required
•Perform other ad hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time by the DSS Manager

Reporting To: : Decision Support Systems (DSS) Manager

Qualification:
A good first degree preferably Computer Science or any other related course 4 years work experience
Work experience in a research or business analysis will be an added advantage
