Job Description

A Group of Companies with core activities in investment banking and asset management, with stockbroker, registrar and real estate subsidiaries.
 
Due to expansion they currently seek qualified professionals for the following position:

 
 
Job Title: 
P.A/Secretary to MD/CEO.
Location: Lagos

 
 
Qualification/Experience.
  • A male with 2-4 years experience as P.A/SEC to a very busy MD/CEO.
  • A graduate of Economics, Bus. Admin, Law, Secretarial Administration or any other related discipline.
  • Smart, Innovative, Proactive with good Communication and Interpersonal Skills and ability to multitask.
  • Any related professional qualification or Masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in a financial institution will be an added advantage.

 
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Organise and co-ordinate the MD’s diary, appointments and other schedules and manage all travel arrangements for the MD; Ensure the MD’s diary, schedules; Ensure the MD’s diary, schedules, appointments and travel arrangements are effectively managed.
  • Attend to callers, staff and visitors and coordinating their meetings/visits with the MD; Professional business interface with callers, visitors and staff; No complaints whatsoever by visitors and staff; Enquiries are dealt with professionally and tactfully in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Divisional/Unit heads in the organisation as regards all issues as demanded by the office of the MD; follow up on executive directives/decisions to ensure compliance; Ensure effective follow up for complete compliance.
  • Review of investment documents/investment appraisal and advising the MD accordingly; Ensure detailed review and advice to enable the MD take decisions.
  • Sorting out of documents/correspondence for the MD’s attention with regards to detail and priority; Ensures proper receipt and delivery of mails.
  • Composes and types letters, memoranda and reports with due regards to confidentiality; Well constructed memos, letters and reports.
  • Organize meetings and take minutes as required.
  • Develop and maintain an effective filing system; Effective filing and retrieval system.
  • Proper coordination of the activities in the office of the MD.
