Job Title: Supply Chain Officer
The supply chain officer will be responsible for handling import documentation assisting with document delivery to the banks and shipping agents, provide assistance to the warehouse officer, maintaining an efficient filling system, " reconciling supplier statements from time to time.
Requirements
• 0-1 year supply chain experience
• Confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be hardworking and target driven
• Must be computer literate
• Minimum Qualification
Qualification:
• OND in any discipline
• Maximum of 28 year of age

They are looking for a Technical or QA Manager from a large scale chilled food manufacturing environment with a track record of leadership and knowledge of food hygiene regulations. Your skill set will encompass BRC, QMS and retailer COPs. You’ll also need to have experience of delivering to the exacting requirements of major retailers and building sound customer relationships.It is highly competitative and needs an extra interactive composure.
Key accountabilities
·Lead and manage the Technical & QA functions on site
·Provide sound technical advice to ensure that products are made safely and to the highest quality standards
·Provide support with technical trouble-shooting, providing technical expertise and insight to resolve the problem with minimal disruption to the business
·Coach and develop staff ensuring the necessary resources/training are in place to meet KPI’s and business targets
·Achieve Green rating for all third party, customer visits, launches and approval audits
·Achieve / Maintain Green status for Group Technical KPI’s and all customer measures
·Assist in improving performance, achieving business objectives and continuous improvement
·Identify and implement Best Practice and new technology within the technical function to help facilitate business improvements
·Support Continuous improvement in Good Manufacturing Practice
·Complete the above within the necessary constraints determined by Health and Safety and Environmental considerations
Candidate Profile
Previous experience
·Proven experience in applicable food industry role (QA Manager or equivalent)
·Ideally gained experience in a ‘high risk’, chilled food manufacturing environment
·Customer facing experience with a UK grocery retailer essential
·Knowledge of BRC / retailer Quality Management Systems/ Codes of Practise essential
·Experience gained in a continuous improvement / lean manufacturing environment desirable
·Experience in managing and coaching teams
·Strong communication and influencing skills
·Able to build and maintain effective business relationships both internally and externally
Qualifications
·Candidates are likely to be educated to degree level in Food Science or closely related subject
·Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
