Job Title: Graphic Designer/Graphic Artist

Location: Lagos

 

 

Responsibilities

• Make improvements to the design and layout of the newspaper, modernizing it and making it more sophisticated.
• Develop a variety of print materials, including brochures and flyers.
• Make enhancements to the website design and layout.
• Create slide shows and PowerPoint presentations.
• Design and Create advertisements.
• Offer design training for vendors interested in building design skills

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Media House.
• Minimum of HND/B.Sc. degree in Graphics Design or Computer Science, Professional certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with InDesign.
• Experience with web content management, specifically WordPress.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize/balance multiple projects at once.
• Polished written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a sometimes challenging and frenzied environment.
• Resourceful and innovative.
• Creative/strategic thinker.
• Familiar with social networking tools and Power Point.
