Job Title: Graphic Designer/Graphic Artist
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Make improvements to the design and layout of the newspaper, modernizing it and making it more sophisticated.
- Develop a variety of print materials, including brochures and flyers.
- Make enhancements to the website design and layout.
- Create slide shows and PowerPoint presentations.
- Design and Create advertisements.
- Offer design training for vendors interested in building design skills
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Media House.
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. degree in Graphics Design or Computer Science, Professional certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with InDesign.
- Experience with web content management, specifically WordPress.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize/balance multiple projects at once.
- Polished written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a sometimes challenging and frenzied environment.
- Resourceful and innovative.
- Creative/strategic thinker.
- Familiar with social networking tools and Power Point.
