Vermark Global Systems, a Cutting Edge Communications Company recruiting Network Administrator / Engineer to add to their expanding growing team.

 

Job Description

The Network Administrator/Engineer will participate in the day-to-day operation of computer networks, including hardware/software support, training, and special projects. The preferred candidate will plan, design, and implement data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist in designing, installing, and maintaining the LAN and WAN Systems.
- Evaluate hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
- Assist in managing network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.
- Document and maintain system configurations for disaster recovery.

 

Required Experience:- Experience with Linux server operating systems.
- Must possess good knowledge of Mikrotik Routers and Switches including networking principles, BGP and OSPF.
- Must have good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be a good team player and work well with others.

 

Beneficial Experience:- Experience with wireless network (wifi/wimax).
- Experience with Asterisk VOIP platform

Successful candidates should have at least 4 years of experience with Mikrotik/Cisco routers and switches.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field.
